I've done one tint job myself, and I'll never do it again. It took a long, long time to do. The job (on my first Corolla) took me an entire day because I wanted the rear window to be right. I kept trimming the pieces and fitting, re-trimming and re-fitting, etc. The side windows aren't too bad.
I worked very (very very very) hard to ensure there would be no bubbling, and a year later it started bubbling around the defroster lines anyway. I am of the belief that the really good quality materials are not sold to the public.
Whereas my car was a lowly Corolla, you have a nice (new) Celica. Don't ruin it. The film is difficult and time consuming to remove. Your $150 pro tint job will end up being a two-day hassle, costing hundreds more. Just pay the pros to do it...
