Rear Disc Conversion for 91 GT

I'm thinking of buying this 91 GT that has drums (yuck) on the rear. I can get rear discs/hubs/cables/etc from a GT-S parts car, but I don't want to do this yet if the proportioning valve has to be changed over as well. Opening all those lines up will be disastrous, I just know it. And there's no point in upgrading to disc if the front-rear brake ratio is set-up wrong.

Does anyone know if the proportioning valve for 4-wheel disc set-up is different than the one for drums?

That's awesome, thanks. I was actually on that site, but I didn't notice the article. Good to go!
