Gen5 vacuum/high idle confusion

hey guys
after having put a new 3sge (rev 2)engine in my jdm 91 st182 i am down to one last obstacle (hopefully)...she starts fine bit idles a little high ...around the 1800 mark...even at that it can be a little up or down from there .
i think its a vacuum problem but cannot find any detailed photos of what lines should be where (toyota diagrams just confuse the hell out of me ) and there is a definate lack of these beautiful cars in the town where i live so asking someone nicely to look under the bonnet is out of the question .i have a copy of the bgb but it only covers the 3stge and we wont say any thing about the haynes manual !!!
there is a sensor of some sort missing from the enclosed picture... http://img140.imageshack.us/my.php?image=vacuumfy5.jpg (circled badly to the right of the picture you can see the bolt hole where it goes)....which i do not have any hoses to connect to .the bgb and toyota epc says it is for the a/c and heater system.which apparently would affect the idle speed.
if it helps i can get up pictures of my own car tomorrow as that photo is one i found on image shack.
help greatly appreciated as i have gone this far on my first excursion into engine territory and would love to get her running smoothly all by myself and without professional help ....just so i can sit back and feel ever so smug
many many thanks for any help .

I have a 1986 3S-GE manual.
The EFI diagram in it has some vacuum lines on it for the ISC VSV and T-VIS VSV.

Gen5 thanks for the reply

Stepho ...i think i already have that diagram in the haynes manual but thanks anyway.

when the rain stopped and the sun came out i took a few photos of the offending article ...

(if this is not clear enough i can put up a few more)
A: is a hose that seems to go nowhere it is curved but not in such a way as to return to what i have named port C.(it just sits as is )
B: is the sensor
C:is the port that i do not seem to have a hose for .it is actually hidden behind the text box (doh!)but it is for an 8mm hose and is about an inch long .
there are a third and fourth smaller hoses that runs along the firewall to the left they are ok as they were never touched.

basically what i am asking is where in the name of jeebus do these connect to as i am STUMPED.
if anybody has the time and patience to take a quick snap of their own one and post it i would be eternaly grateful.
