My friend has a 90 Celica STX that we want to hook up for performance. All go and no show. Can anyone help us out? Any advice or tips are welcome. Thanks.

It looks like your buddy got stiffed with the ST trim. IMO, that motor has no business being a sports coupe, it would be more at home in a base model Corolla (it is if you didn't know, haha.) Hopeless doesn't describe it. Engine swap is the only way.

3S-GTE, or grab a 3S-GE which will be cheaper and a nice BIG TURBO Might be better to grab a gt-s and do the swap as the gt-s already has discs, one less conversion.
