My friends 98 Celica GT has some problems

I'm trying to help him out, this is what his car looks like.

At first we were thinking it was a quality job, but looking at it more, i can tell the stock springs were chopped, the original shocks are still there. Who ever owned it put the biggest fuel enjectors they could put in there with stock spark plug wires and crappy spark plugs, has a really cheap exhaust system on it with a cheap do it yourself intake. But he did get it 2300$ under what its worth, so it is what it is...

Well heres the thing, he wants to fix the ride, it is so unbarable its gastly harsh... The slightest bump the car bounces like crazy and possibly gets air... which one should he do first? get Eibach prokit springs or buy some new struts? he cant do them both at the same time, limited money but he can do one... So which one should it be?

Also! it has a custom push button ignition in it, and whenever you leave the doors open for more than 5-10 minutes, the car refuses to start, you have to push the car down a hill in order for it to start. um, windshield wiper, not the motor, but the thing to spray the window, that motor is out.

OH AND A BIG ONE! it has cheap after market brakes, the rotors are good, cross drilled and slotted. but when you brake, they dont work very good, possibly worn brake pads... But i had a friend tell me the ABS computer was giving out and was the culprit. Also, when slowing down, to about 5mph, theres a nasty grinding sound, feels like its coming from the clutch or the brakes, but its felt through the whole car.

Your friend got it cheap for a reason, it need's a lot of work.

I would say that the brakes need to be bled, probably what the issue is and not so much the ABS as that's only kicking in during skidding.

The springs should be done first, especially if there are cut. That's quite unsafe. Eibach is a good start. Find stock injectors and that should be on the priority list as well. Also stock ignition system. NGK plugs and dizzy cap and wires. Do all OEM.

I would rip out the push button because it's retarded and try to wire everything back to stock. Flush all fluids, and check the CV joints of the axles. Meaning check for torn boots.

Then strip the car of that paint job and paint it all black.
