my girl has a 2001 celica gt and the rear wiper isnt working right... when you turn it on, it doesnt swing down like it should, instead it hesitates and then swings back and off the car... i took the back plate off and looked at the gear inside and nothing seems to be wrong with it... does anyone know what the problem is?

Wiper motor could be going out. Or you need to tighten the bolt that tightens the wiper arm to the pivot point.

That's the best I can do for you buddy.
Maybe someone else could help?

yeah i figured i needed to just tighten the bolt for the wiper but where is that bolt? after taking off the cover in the trunk, i couldnt find where the wiper arm bolted in
