Gen5 Temperature Gauge

Hi !

Im having trouble with my temperature gauge
Usually it stays in the middle but 2day it starts jumping really fast to the top (H) and the it comes back to middle .

That's weird. Your gas light is on too and you have more than a quarter tank. Then your temp sensor is wacked! Looks to me like the temp sensor is going bad. Is your car engine on while you are filming? Couldn't tell because of the music in the background.

Yep , the engine is on . For the gas light , it was there before ( this is another problem to solve lol)

Temp Gauge

My 89 GTS does almost the exact same thing except it bounces between halfway and no reading at all. It's done this for almost a year now and I believe its the temp sensor. The engine performs fine and definitely does not overheat. I don't know if this is a common problem, but mine bounces just like yours.

My 5th gen did the same thing, bouncing and flying everywhere. It's actually going to be related to the guages rather than the sensor. There's a ground up there that has probably come loose.
