Gen5 5th Gen Body Width Q.

Is the GT4 body wider than the standard GT?? I some fotos that ive seen the wheel arches seem slightly wider....

As I understand it, yes. The front fenders are bolt on wider, and the rear fenders were designed wider as part of the uni-body. As far as the rest of the actual body, I think the dimensions are the same.... I believe it's just bulging fenders giving it the "wide body" .... although I may be mistaken.

GTS and GT4/All-Trac bodies are both the same 'widebodies'. The GT is a narrow-body.

Yep the GTS and GT4s have wider front fenders and in the rear too.

I had a some body work done on my GTS and they put a GT/ST fender on the front of the car and painted it. Needless to say when I pointed it out to the shop owner he wasnt pleased.

Are the wheel offsets the same though? Because the GT4 it seems like the wheels are too sunken into the body because of the wider fenders.

Not sure about the offsets on the GT4 but I seem to remember seeing the actual rally racers using 4 bolt paten axles vs the 5 bolt on the stock cars.
