Need some parts

looking for tail lights and assembly from a 1972/1973 ra25 or ta27, you know; five lights on each side...some call them "banana" tail lights, but i don't find that name to attractive. they need to be interchangeable with a 1977 gt liftback

You will only find them in Japan.
Search Yahoo auctions, Japan.
http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/
Enter in RA25 or TA27 in the box at the top left.

They are interchangeable with '77 tail lights as long as you also use the RA25/TA27 centre piece between them.
But this means you have no place for your license plate because the 25/27 mounted the license plate under the chrome smiley bumper.
Alternatively, you could trim your '77 centre piece until the earlier tail lights fit.

The smiley bumpers were used everywhere except for America.
Australia is the best source but even there they are rare.

You can probably cobble something together for the license plate.
Do one of the following:
1. Trim your American spec centre piece to fit between the wider 25/27 tail lights.
2. Use a 25/27 centre piece with an America safety bumper and build your own under-bumper license plate holder.
3. Use a 25/27 centre piece with an Australian smiley bumper with its under-bumper license plate holder.
