Cylinder Head Bolt Torque

car: 1987 Toyota Celica GT 2.0 Automatic

Hello, can someone verify below that this is correct sqeuence and torque for 1987 Celica GT 2.0 Automatic?

Thank you.

1. tighten all to 22 FT. LBS.
2. tighten an additional 90 degrees
3. tighten an additional 90 degrees
sequence:

I can't say for sure on your particular engine but most 4 cylinder engines swap 6 and 7.

(8) (6) (1) (3) (9)
(10) (4) (2) (5) (7)

The basic idea is to start at the centre and work your way out to the edges in rings, criss-crossing from side to side and left to right.
This helps spread the metal out evenly.
If you start from the outside and work inwards then you squeeze the metal into the centre and then you are left with some excess that has nowhere to go.
