Engine Swap: 3SGTE into Corona T170

Hi all,

quick intro, my name is Erik and Im from Indonesia.

I have purchased a front clip of a Toyota Celica ST185, and planning to put the engine n wiring n transmission into my Toyota Corona, which is currently running a std 3S-FE, automoatic,

now the questons part,:

1, can I make the transmission that came with the 3S-GTE to run FWD?
if not,
2: will the auto from the 3S-FE be good enough for the 3S-GTE?

hi there

ive gota st191 and im thinking of droping a 3sgte in, ive been told it will bolt in and will have to use the standard trans,
ive got no idea how the standard box and clutch are going to handle tho

how that helps
