99 celica keyless entry
Just bought 99 celica gt with 118k miles. came with two keyless entry devices. replaced battery in both at dealer. intermittently when locking or unlocking the car will chirp (once or twice depending on lock or unlock) and other times it will just lock or unlock with no chirp. i know of nothing i am changing. and occasionally one of the keyless devices doesn't work at all.
any explain the intermittent chirp/no chirp?
the devices have two buttons - one with little bumps and one without. what is the second button for? nothing in owner manual.
