so i read on some website that a stock 22r could handle anywhere from 17 to 22 puonds of boost. i was just wondering whether this has been proven or if its just a farce. any advice is welcome, thanx!

Well you need to be a bit more specific, factory turbo or after market? I don't think it's a good idea to run that much boost on a 22rte's factory turbo. Since it's smaller you are just heating the air up instead of moving more air, and that is a sure fire recipe for destroyed pistons.

nice link.....and my bad, i meant an aftermarket turbo...but thanks....oh yeah, in that link it says the same thing about the high boost....
