Question Best place for Celica spares?

Hey All,

Okay, so I am in the market for a new car, I want something along the lines of the Celica, always loved the styling, somthing a little older, 1st to 4th Gen, difficult to make my mind up!

Anyway, I have looked at a few including a nice 76 GT. It looked great but the interior was, well, crap. Are there any places that deal with Celica restoration parts? I had a 280ZX Turbo and found between Motorsport Auto and Black Dragon Automotive I had more than enough places to get the car to the level I wanted. Any similar companies for Toyota?

Thanks for you help!

Richard

Rick at Toyhead auto has a collection of new/old stock - www.toyheadauto.com

There is also a couple of businesses in Thailand who make reproduction parts like indicators, interior door handle surrounds, etc
They sell on Ebay.

There are also wreckers but classic Celicas are not very common any more.
In general, you are on your own.
The industry doesn't really support the early Celicas.
Luckily, most trim can be custom made without any drama.
Seats and doors are easy to retrim.
And carpets are available from almost all automotive carpet suppliers.
