Clutch Pedal Sticking

I have a 93 Celica GTS and have recently had a problem with the clutch pedal sticking down. I tried bleeding the clutch but that has not helped. The problem seems worse on cold mornings. Any advice on this problem or the clutch system in general?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Cable clutch....? AFAIK all 4th-7th Gen Celicas use a hidraulic clutch system. I tried looking up anything clutch wire related on the Toyota EPC and nothing came up

Have you checked the clutch fluid level...? I'd bet it's the clutch slave cilinder thats already giving away so you probably are loosing some fluid; my advice is to buy the kit and service the unit, it's rather simple and it will only take an 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours tops other wise you'll wake up to no clutch sooner or later.

I have checked the fluid level when bleeding the clutch. Problems in the slave cylinder could be the problem. It is definitely getting worse. Any idea where can I get the kit for servicing the slave cylinder?

I had the same problem with my 89 AllTrac it turned out to be a leaking slave cylinder.
