a few questions 1990 2.2 GT trans. drop
i think i need some help i don't post much on forum so bear with me . i have a few questions
that i need help with i have a 1990 2.2l toyota Celica Gt 5 speed no ABS
non turbo with 193,000 miles
first thing i need to know what trans fluid a 5 speed 1990 2.2 GT takes manual was vague
also i was replacing the clutch and pressure plate so i went about it the ez way and instead of removing the engine and transmission, i dropped the sub frame unbolted the transmission mounts and bell housing bolts then removed the starter and this is where i had some trouble when i removed the starter i did not remember where the ground went and another wire that was grounded to the car in the driver side fender also when i dropped the transmission the speedo cable disconnected from the top someplace and now cant find where it goes both chilton and haynes do not tell you much about the parts i removed it give a vague description of how to remove the transmission by telling you to loosen bolts and drop transmission but its not enough
to get by on. i replaced clutch but am waiting on a passenger front axle to see how it works goes
