1990 Celica 4A-FE engine EGR

I got a trouble code of a bad EGR.

Anyone know where the EGR is located? And anyone have a diagram?

It'd be on the upper left of the intake manifold, it's small, gray, and has two (possibly three?) vacuum hoses attached to it. Can fit in your hand.

Thanks for the tips. Yes, it has three vacuum lines, plus one electrical (temp sensor). Held on to the manifold by two nuts.

It is a bit hidden, but easily accessed. My search was a bit complicated, since I was looking for a different part. It seems my car parts place had a glitch in the inventory control system, which gave me the wrong part. So, I brought in my old one, and we matched pictures.

Since the "wrong" part had a gasket, I assumed the good one also came with a gasket. But it did not, so I bought one - a good Fel-Pro for 6 bucks.

Once I had the part, it was easy!

Glad to hear it, did it fix your problem?

Only reason I didn't know how many hoses it took was I usually post at work, far away from my celica, which is dead ATM :x.
