7gen 2004 gts 4th gear pop

i mistyped the title. its 2000, not 2004. I am planning to buy a 2000 gts celica (6 spd manual). the fourth gear keeps popping out, but light pressure will hold it in place. is it the brushing / bushing? (can't spell) and if so, how much approximately will it cost to fix?

thanks

also, are there anything that these first versions have problems with?

Mine just started to do the same thing. I'm around 92k. Grinding also when downshifting into 4th. Hopefully getting it looked at today.
