1985 Celica Convert Elect Problem

Hi: I've got a 1985 Celica Convert. Intermitantly the dash lights and the rear lights don't come on when I turn on the lights. The head lights work fine though. Any solutions?

Bad grounding often causes this.
Rust getting between the wire lug and the body connection is usually the culprit.
Make sure the black wires under the dash form a clean connection to the body.
Also check for a loose ground connection (also a black wire) between the rear lights.
