ct20 turbo

Hi there, i have just discovered that the oil seals in my ct26 turbo have gone as white oily smoke pours out of the exhaust pipe. The car is a st185. Would it be a good idea to replace it with a ct20 turbo? would it bolt straight in? I am planning to replace the headgasket with a steel one. What would be a safe level to turn the boost up to? The engine will be stock other than a metal head gasket, ct20 turbo, straight intake and a dump valve

I think it should bolt right up. It's a pretty decent upgrade though not amazing. You could also look into the CT27 option that ATS offers.

CT20's are pretty much 12-14psi, (1bar) should be good for you.
