Fuel Filter 2000 Celica

Does anyone knows where the Fuel Filter is located? I have a Celica 2000 gts model. I need to know because I have my engine check light on, and it says lean on a bank 1, which I figured that it may be the oxygen sensor. It had a code po171 on my OBI data. I changed the fuel filter sensor on the bank 1, but problem still exists.

??? I think your quite confused.

To answer your question, the fuel filter is in the fuel tank on the pump.

A P0171 is often a vacuum leak, dirty MAF sensor, or a bad O2 sensor.

Fuel filter sensor on Bank 1??? I'm assuming you mean the O2 sensor?

You need to clean or replace your MAF sensor.

to go into to more detail
first let me start off with this

Bank 1/2 stands for exhaust manifold 1 or 2 (1 being the side that has cylinder 1 on it)
sensor 1/2 means your pre/post-cat, sensor 1 reading pre and 2 reading post

a bank 1 sensor 1 means your pre-cat o2 sensor and it reads your fuel to air mix and with a lean condition that means its not reading enough fuel which is either to much air or to little fuel and going with the fact that the new celi's have problems with there MAF i would have to say thats your fault.
and o2's rarely go out.

as for the bank 1 sensor 2 reads the hydrocarbons/emissions coming from the cat
