Celica 00 radio HU wiring help!~

Finally got around to take out the radio on my sister's 00 celica gts, the previous owner hooked up a pioneer HU, but it seems to running with some RCA output to the car.

btw, the reason i mess with it is because we are getting a constant buzz when the radio is on, it's almost like a static.

i took out the rca, solder everything and to my surprise the buzz is gone but the volume seems to be way high. For example: if i turn the up the vol slightly higher, the overall noise lever is almost unbearably loud.

so what's the deal? does the celica require some sort of installation wiring kit?
