A few years back when I picked up my '92 vert, my local stealership quoted me a ridiculous price for a boot ($1200, or something like that

) Needless to say, I was lucky to find someone parting out his '93 vert who sold me his for less than $100, shipped - and it had been VERY gently used (like never used

). Your best bet would be to try and find someone parting out their 5th gen vert, or at least willing to part with the boot. I like the look of it on, but probably only use it about 10% or less of the times the top's down. It looks sharp

when out for a weekend excursion or something, but it's a hassle for everyday use

(like going to work). Good luck finding one, I'm sure there are a few to be had somewhere.
Browse as many Celica sites as you can find and start asking around - celicatech.com has a large number of 5th gen owners - it's been a good source for used parts for me (got clear corner/bumper lenses - look great on the white vert, got the boot, and got all the weatherstripping for the roof tracks. Good deal !!!)
