1972 Celica After Market Suspension Parts

Does anyone know of a good company that does custom fabrication of suspension parts? I plan on modifying my '72 Celica for track racing and I want to replace the stock A-Arms with some tubular 4130 units. Or a pair of boxed units would be great too. Has anyone out there done a similar retro fit? Look forward to hearing from you guys.

Check out a mag called "Redline" at Branes and Noble from England. They have a set-up for a line of parts that we haven't even thought of creating.

I was in a performance shop in Ontario California today that specializes in custom suspension work and will be back pass there on Monday, I'll see what they have and will add to this thread afterwards. They specialize in Older Toyota Celica's and Corollas.

thanks 73GTV

The name of the shop is "Rated R, Mororsports" on Philadelphia Street. I went past it on the way to work but they where not open yet so I didn't have ime to pick-up a business address. I'll see if their website is online and I'll try and stop by there later in the week.

I've just been told that the address that I listed was incorrect. The R Rated Motorsports that I have visited is actually in Ontario Ca. off of Philadelphia Street. I will stop in and get the correct address and a business card. Sorry about the bad info. I'll try and be a bit more careful in the future.

Did you check out the "Redline" mag yet?

Look for shops that make race parts for the AE86 Corolla.
Much of the AE86 suspension can be adapted to the 70-75 Celica.

Whiteline make some performance parts such as sway bars and strut braces.

Thanks Stepho and 73GTV for the shop info. Much appreciated! I did check out Redline mag. Got some nice cars, cute girls, the usual. No first Gen Celicas though.

Then the only source I have left is a mag named japanese nostalgic car. It have a few links that will aid you and some past articles about the 1974 Lift-back Celica and modifications performed by one of the best Restorers now in the UK. Also Stepho can possibly refer you to back issues of Zoom Mag from Stepho country of Origin. What you want can be fabricated by anyone including yourself if you will provide the technical drawing for your idea. Off the shelf, is a tough call unless you know somebody who has done it before. A picture say a thousand words and effort a thousand and one. Sorry I came up short on the suggestions, But I tried.

R Rated Motorsports , 1459 E. Philadelphia Street Ontario, Ca 91761
