03 Toyota Celice GT problems..

I just purchased a 2003 Toyota Celica GT less than a week ago.

I had it checked out at my mechanics before purchasing and the only major thing they reported it needs is the serpentine belt replaced.

However there are a few things that I've noticed in the short time I've had her that I was wondering how easy/costly to replace either myself or at a mechanic.

1) Driver side window gets jammed/stuck after being rolled down all the way. Rolling it up and down a bit corrects this. I'm not sure if this is related, but whenever I shut the driver side door, I can feel something loose inside the door moving around. I'm not sure if its a component of the window/motor that is causing it to get the window off track or something completely unrelated.

2) Whenever I go to pump up gas, the pump will not go more than a few seconds without automatically shutting off. It doesnt matter how i angle the pump, it'll keep shutting off automatically.

I'm not sure if this is related or not, but either the celica has a very small gas tank or the gauge is off. I'll put about 20 bucks of gas (at 3.15 a gallon) and it will fill it almost 3/4 of the tank.

3) When I'm braking, sometimes there is a loud squeal emitted from the from of the celica. This doesn't occur every time I brake but often enough that I'm worried about it.

I appreciate any help you guys could give me. Thank you!

2) some gas nozzles with long spouts, when put into the hole all the way, will do that. you probably figured this out, but pull the nozzle about a cm or inch out from as deep as it will go, it will still rest there comfortably and the gas will flow freely without stopping repeatedly. gas tank should hold 13.5 gallons.

I don't know about anything else; they sound vehicle-specific to me.

1.) Take it to the dealer/mechanic and have them pop off the door panel, very simple.

2.) This happened to my celica, it was due to a sensor in the exhaust system (O2 I believe) which tells the pump when to turn off. A dealer will be able to detect and fix this problem if they run a diagnostic.

3.) Squealing brakes can be any number of things. Worn pads, a rock, rust due to salt exposure (do you live in an area with snow where they salt the roads?). Generally not a problem, just have a dealer/mechanic check the brake wear, you may be due for a replacement.

FYI I own a 2003 Celica GT.

Bought a 2003 GT-S last week. I noticed that after my first fill up. Actually I got worried because I noticed that it was taking forever for a my gas gauge to go down a notch. The way I figure it the gauge wont show any decrease until I use up about a 1/4 of a tank, then it goes down one notch and is steady at its decrease. Not sure if its suppose to do that but its not really bothering me.
