Exclamation my new car

so today im driving home from work and i see this black 1994 toyota celica for sale. i stop buy cause i need to get another car . the guy says give him 250$ and its mine. the problem,i got my bro to tow it home.i put my battery in it and it started. next thing i know it starts clicking really loud like the like the pisten are not stopping they are just hitting whats above it. also i anti freeze was like a glue i flushed that. now i got that cleaned it still does it someone please help me i wanna keep this car.

i will record a vid as soon as i can get back into my garage

sounds like worn piston/crank bearings, its a non interface engine so you dont have to worry about bending valves but im guessing thats your problem
i would NOT start it again if it is bearings you do not want to start it if you do you run the risk of destroying the crank and push rods

Wow $250 is a steal. Just buy a new used engine for it as it cost you lest then trying to fix the issue. The engine should run something like $500 bucks. At the same time replace the clutch if it's a stick also the hoses, timming belt, waterpump, and front/rear main seals. Total you should be looking at a perfectly running Celica for $1000.
