2000 Celica door lock

Someone tried to break in to my daughter's 2000 Celica Sunday night, and he damaged the driver door lock. Apparently it still opens from the remote, just not with the key. Any suggestions how to repair? Or does a locksmith, a body shop, or a mechanic repair something like this? Or is it so expensive to fix that she should just live with it? Suggestions please, thanks.

Sounds like you need a new lock cylinder. You can order them from the dealer.
