1982 VS 1984 GT not GTS
which one should I buy. Bummer! they are both Auto trans

what is the major difference?
  1. maintainence cost?
  2. MPG?
  3. reliablity?
  4. smog purpose?
  5. which engines are chear to buy or tho fix?
  6. can you get used ones from japan? how much?
  7. how much are rebuilt engines.
  8. can I convert it to stick. what does it take and how much will that cost?
  9. what else?
I was looking for a everyday car that is good on gas and had some power so my friend recommended getting 22r cars?

should I just wait for a stick?

If you want a stick, wait for a stick. Go for the 84 (or 85) over the 82 or 83 b/c they have a few more HP and fuel injection. Some 83s had carb, all 82s had carb.
