Unhappy 2bar mapsenor

Does anyone know where/ to get a 2barmap sensor.
Just turboed a 5sfe celica gt and clearly need a map sensor to read the more dense air.
I called a dealership and asked about getting one from a 93 celica 3sgte,
but the guy said that he thinks the part number is 8942020140, and it will cost $392 but hes not sure its the right part.
Clearly not gonna spend 392 on a special order part and have it not solve the problem.

Where can I get it/ what should I tell the parts guy (if they carry that)

GM 2bar sensor is fine, too.

do you know if there an easy switch? I think I might just get the one from the dealer, another forum told me that that is the partnumber for the 3sgte 2 bar map sensor I am looking for.
do you know if my stock ecu will be able to compensate for that pressure change?
my wastegate is set at 7lbs which is only 1 bar... the ecu can interprete that information?

Your ECU, being map-based, will read the information from whatever map sensor is on the car, and adjust for it. To a point. I would efinitely not suggest just running your car with a 2bar, stock ecu, and nothing else. (Although this is how the old Burien turbo "kit" worked.)

MSD BTM, maybe an E-manage would be a good place to start.

Couldn't tell ya, to be honest. All i know is that it retards timing based on pressure.

I haven't used one. The only non-turbo cars that i've messed with turbos on are Hondas, and i just tune them with Crome.
