Gen5 Oil leak in spark plug. easy fix?

My car has been burning a little oil and I found a leak on the threads of spark plug #4. Just wondering if this is an easy fix or do I need a valve job? I mean is there something I can just tighten or get a new gasket for?

Is the oil only on the thread of the spark plug? What about the electrodes, are they clean or carbon up? How is the spark plug boot?

It could be valve seals, or rings, there are few things to check before you can determine what the cause is. Are you using any oil? Do you see any blue smoke when you first start up in the morning?

Oil is only on the threads and does not reach the electrodes which are clean. I am not sure if there was any oil on the boot, but I know the socket had oil on it after removing the plug. I have checked for smoke in the morning and there is none.

If that is the case, it is probably the spark plug tube is leaking. You can remove that and reseal it, also put a tube seal in on the top at the valve cover.
