92 Celica sunroof stuck - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Hello everyone. I just purchased a 92 celica GT tonight. Everything about it is great. However the sunroof, while it is closed it does not completely sit flush in the rear and the the buttons do nothing to solve it. I have taken the cover off and have tried to remove the screw so I can have access to the manual crank but the screw just turns. You can hear it turning but nothing happens and it cant be turned clockwise at all. I am just curious if anyone has other ideas I could try. The roof doesn't seem to leak because it looks like its pretty much sealed. However I would like it to close that extra bit just to be safe. Any help would be much appreciated!

Got to be something interfering with it or the motor is not pushing it enough and the motor stop needs adjusted so it doesn't stop short? Maybe have someone else operate it while you watch it.
