Does anyone know of a good engine swap to perform on an 85 gt-s? I have a weakass 22re. I was thinking of a Supra engine but I'm not sure which one. All suggestions will be appreciated.

Supra engine wont fit. Try 3SGTE or maybe a newer engine 1ZZFE or 2ZZGE, might work

yes it is a RWD celi... considered as the celica/supra models... why not look for a nice 22r and fix that up i've heard lots of potentials for the 22r engine... a 20v 4age is also not out of the question....

3TGTE? would that fit? or you can always try 22RGTE (turbocharged fuel-injected 22R)

A 22RTE will/should bolt right into your car. I plan to put one in my 77 within 1 year, and will be making around 250-300bhp. Obviously, lots of custom work.

Putting in a 3SGTE requires TONS more work.
