overheating prob

hey guys im new to this forum so hi, reason is i got a prob with a new style celica vvti it started overheating so i checked it and one radiator pipe was cold one was hot turning on the heaters cooled it down. left it for a week took it to work and the heaters would only blow cold air but it was still overheating and there was water in it. so thought it was thermostat changed that drove it home it did not overheat but was still blowing cold air i personally think the pump is gone. anybody got any other ideas please and how difficult are the water pumps in this engine to change many thanks struan

If you car is no longer overheating then your water pump is fine.
