hey guys, i have a 2000 toyota celica gt automatic, and my dad bought it for me, but i really wanted an gts manual. I recently broke the engine, or transmission.

Im just wondering if i can swap a gts manual or automatic engine into my celica, and im wondering what ill need, etc. and how hard or easy it will be.

Im also wondering if the gts engine will fit in easily, or will it be a hassle to make it fit?

It will swap in and from what i've read the swap isn't too difficult. The engine you are looking for would be a 2zzfe. I would search around on the forums or PM some users who have done this swap before and gather some information. I believe you might need the ECU aswell with some other items.
