what is the best possible swap for my 93 toyota celica st, without making it AWD. im not only asking swaps from only other celica's, but any toyota

"easiest" route is to swap in the same motor that powers the awd AllTrac, the 3SGTE, but only through the front wheels ...... very common swap, able to make very good power. Anything else is asking for more headaches, as I see it, beings as it's a Celica motor from the get go. And successful conversions of 5th gen fwd to awd are few and far between, compared to how many non-AllTrac 3SGTE powered 5th gen Celicas
there are runnin' around.
I mean, if you have a LOT of time and a LOT of $$$, I'm sure there are many options available. Rationally, drop in the 3SGTE/ecu and an appropriate tranny and you're ST should fly (ST's are the lightest of the litter
