regular and premium fuel question

my 90 celi gt i put in reg gas but ive seen a few posts of putting in premium and it working better in smoothnes of the engine and whatnot. would it be better for the engine to put in premium or just stay with regular

Run a couple of tanks of preminum and determine if there is a differance.

If the car runs OK on regular and does not ping, use this.

there wouldnt be a danger would there. and there is no pingin or nothing it runs really smooth right now. just need to know if it is safe to run premium and see if it helps my motor out any

Safe to run premium.

Won't help at all unless you count the weight loss in your wallet improving your power/weight ratio.
