its easy
ok first you need to remove a couple of things the cold start injector this is a small injector just left of the throttle body right below the badge that says fule injection be careful not to break the paper gasket then thers 2 brackets one holds the throtle cable the other holds the spark plug wires then you remove the spark plug wires theise should be pulled from the base not the wire sometimes theyr stuck in there so you have to shimmy them back and fourth once you remove the spark plug wires youl see a tube with a large kindof flat nutt on it there is four of them unscrew them you can use a adjustable wrench theise are the nuts that hold down the valve cover once all the nutts are removed there are gaskets theyr round and hard (theise need to be replaced theyr cheep and readly avaliable) then knock the valve cover of with a soft mallet or pry it off carefully with a screw driver you might have to fenagle it around to get it out (dont be scared by the brown flakey oil on everything)
then there are certian spots on the head that need rtv silacone gasket like in any corner/spot that isnt flat around the cam shaft ends (a dab will do) then seat the new valve cover gasket and repeat the rtv silacone process on any spit that isnt flat or has a hump in it
then rebolt the valve cover with the new gaskets underneth the nuts and snug down in each one a littel at a time untill a littel bit of thread shows through the threaded tube DO NOT RANK ON THEM it isnt critical that they be super tight on (also now would be a good time to replace the littel distrbutor o ring if your valve cover is leaking this one prolly is too) then put the spark plug wires back in this is easy because they only have just enoughf length of wire to fit in the right tube so parts needed// valve cover gasket/spark plug tube gaskets/rtv silacone i would sugest a hanes manuel it does clear up some questions
