so im doing the serp belt, and i go to put the new one on, and i have to much slack, so either its the wrong one or i have it mis-routed, anyone have a routing diagram.

anyone have any info on the tensioner too, i just used a wrench to take the tension off the belt.

im a chevy guy workin on my gf's car

it might be the wrong belt i had a guy at auto zone try and tell me that i was buying a serp belt i questioned him and turns out IT WAS A TIMEING BELT der ah ah so i returned it got a refund and a free replacement (allways question the "professonal" behind the counter) another thing does it have air conditioning? thats a factor

did you compare the old with the new? That would indicate if you received the wrong belt.
