Canada 89 celica gte swap

hi everyone ,
i have 89 celica gt-s coupe and im currently taking out the old knocking 3s-ge
and im talking to a guy thats selling me his old knocking 91 mr2 3s-gte , tranny, ecu ,ct-26 turbo ...ect.....
now i know what im doing so i could try to rebuild but im wondering what i wont need for the swap , for example i heard you couldnt use the mr2 tranny but you could use the transaxles but im not completely sure about anything needed to complete the swap

but im wondering if anyone could possibly put together a kind of list to show me what i will need to make it compatable to my celica ...
or am i waisting my time ... the cars hit 20 years old its to late...

thanks for any support

You can use the MR2 tranny, but you'll need to swap linkages, and use mr2 inner axles, alltrac outers.

Fuel pump, yes.

ECU.... you'll have to do some wiring work to get it all to work in your car. Does motor not come with injectors?
