USA knock sensor headache

hey guys i have a 93 celica gt-s jdm motor and the check engine light came on and read knock sensor. so I bought a new one. only ploblem is i dont know where its located. any help on this matter would be great. thanks in advance.

Try looking on the AutoZone website in their vehicle repair guides. If the site does not have the exact model of car look for something with the same engine.

What motor is in your car and what year is the motor? If you're the guy that swapped in the jdm 3sfe, you don't have a knock sensor. Which is why it's hitting that cel.

Located on the rear of the block. You can reach it and see it by removing the front passenger tire and looking up from the tie rod. It looks like a bolt with a blue ring and a sensor attached to it.
Pretty pricey peice.
