Did you buy that navy blue one?

Probably MAF or spark plugs. They're VERY sensitive to spark plugs.

^ $1200 huh? You go look at it yet? Let me know if you don't get it. I wouldn't pay $2000 for it, but i'd pay $1200.

When you mean under load you mean when the turbo boost correct? If so there are only parts that can cause it. First is the spark make sure all ignition parts are in good working order and that there is no air leaks. The second part is the fuel. Check the injectors and fuel filter and also check for any loose parts such as sensors that will effect the fuel. You'll also have to check the turbo too because if the wastegate is bad or parts releated to it can cause it to over boost which will cause a fuel cut.

"Well recently I got this car out of a trade for my 77 Celica GT... at the time the car was running good.. trailored it back from KY.. woke up the next morning it was sputtering really bad .. the motor is not knocking.. put a new ecu in it ... did not fix the problem.. im not a mechanic so i could not tell you what is wrong.. but if it was my guess fuel issue... the car is in really good shape .. it is midnight blue with midnight blue interior.. clear coat is peeling in spots.. it is running open downpipe.. the car will need to be towed due to sputtering issue... i would like 1200 obo .. just get at me with any questions"

Doesn't sound like it's even getting far enough to spool and overboost. I'm betting plugs, afm, or a boost leak.

"under load" just means when the engine is put under any kind of load. Whenever you hit the gas. Doesn't necessarily mean it's spooling. It's way down on power according to the seller, he would at least feel some power before hitting fuel cut.

I had this problem in my 88 alltrac. I replaced the spark plug wires and the problem went away.
