4afe Swap HELP!!!!

Hi i have a toyota celica 1.6 ST 4afe engine and it is just about out of its life but the car is rust free with 388,000 miles on the body and this was the second engine and i want to make this car alot quicker than it is i was thinking about swapping it with a 4age or 4agze and was wondering about a 3sgte i have heard some talk about fitting but motor mounts need to be redone and some other stuff. So i was wondering what other people have done and how much should i be looking to spend i have all the tools to do this but i need more info

stick with a 4a motor if you want it to be easy. Put a newer gen in perhaps. A 20v silvertop/blacktop would be unique or why not a 4agze from a mr2 or levin in japan. Easier then a 3s swap.

so if i were to put a black top 4age would i have a problem with anything fitting up to it like headers or exhaust. because that is what im going to most likely do then.

Yeah, you're going to have a problem putting more than one header on that car.

But i'd be more concerned with wiring, personally.

I would just send the harnesses to Dr.Tweak. He will save you a lot of trouble. He even offers trouble shooting advice. He did my 4agze swap including the harness. Check him out at www.phoenixtuning.com
