A shorty rubber antenna does wonders for updating.

As for inside.... grab some leather 5th gen GTS seats, or some 7th gen GTS seats and put them in.

Convert your guages and dash lights to red. Dye your carpet and headliner black. That'll all do wonders.

The dye just get a fabric dye from wherever and mix a big bucket with it and stuff your carpet in there.

I don't really have a guideline to do the antenna you're talking about... but it should be pretty straightforward. Keep in mind you'll have to relocate your stock wiring for it, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Newer toyota steering wheel. There's info on the 7th gen celica wheel conversion on celicatech.

no no the antena would be easy for me to do except the plugging of the hole (ever notice the rubber drain?)
i have what i think is a 93 front bumper (now toataled) you know seprate plugs for the fog lights? all i can seem to find is the standard one

the wind sheild trim (front & rear) looks cheep could i shave it off with a razor tape it off and run a smooth bead of whatever?

Standard body repair kit should help that hole. Its a bonus because you can reach it from inside the trunk. Should be easy to plus, sand it and paint to match.

i was thinking a body repair kit but im worried about it expanding and cracking ill just have to take my time and buy some west system

what is the general consensus with dash paint? nothing tacky like red but like a flat/satin black i mean i dont see how paint can hold to a foam dash. i would like to use some kindof fake leather and kindov re apolster the das/trim

now keep in mind i live about 5 miles away from a strictly all toyota salvage yard im loveing the ideas keep them comming!!!!

Elaborate a bit with the front bumper and fogs bit.... not sure what you're trying to say/ask...

You aren't spraying directly on foam..... unless you're missing the plastic cover that goes over and around your entire dash.

There's specific paint for that. You have to prep REALLY well, though, or else it WILL flake. It's in how you do it, not the bonding properties of the product. If it doesn't work, then you screwed up.

You'll want to clean it really good with rubbing alcohol first, then go over it with a scotchbrite pad, and then go over it again with rubbing alcohol. (Removes the cleaners you've been using for years on the dash, which, surprise, are oil based, which makes paint not stick.)

Then do several LIGHT coats until you reach your desired finish.

Separate holes is 92-93, tucked in the middle is 90-91.

Dont forget that whatever paint you choose will offgas considerably on a dash in the sun. Black will only make it hotter, so be careful the kind of paint you choose. There are a lot of new low VOC acrylics out there in all the market that offgas very little in heat. Just a reminder so your car doesnt smell like a chemical plant.

Another idea could be mirrors that have turn signals in them. Itd take some research, but you might be able to match a set off a lexus and wire them to work. That would be a good way to fooling other people into the real age of your car.

With a dash mouted ignition, you could also install a push button ignition and remote starter. I might steal that thought...

yea i want a flat black on the pannels and especialy the dash i never would have figured on the glare the dam thing gives off...didnt think of the fumes though i know flat black usualy drys even and quick
i like the stock mirrors they are quite unique i would love to play around with putting a signal light into them i would just have to find a light to work with

i would like to play with some kindov euro style side marker light on the fenders (liked the idea back 03 when my brother got his jetta)

yea i can tell my ignition switch is starting to go and i would love to just have a button START on the dash id have a marine type kill switch for a key

now...about thows drums i can get all the (rusty) parts from another gen 5 in the junkyard to do the disc break conversin (the suspention is just sitting on the ground) what would i need out of it all? (would love to have abs)
i painted my drums detroit diesel alpine green it is one of the few hi temp paints that holds up from rusting

You COULD get wheel spacers... or you could just get new wheels that have the proper offset.
