ok. I get this morning and the car wont start. turns over but wont kick off. so im thinking fuel filter. I losen the fuel line right where it bolts to the fuel rail and crank it over, no fuel. so i buy a new filter. after taking the front tire off and squirming my hand in the hole where the axle comes through, for two hours,( only way i seen to get to the bottom) i get it changed. still nothing. so I decide to just "see" if it would start using startin fluid. just the littlest amount and it starts. so im positive that its the fuel pump. but. I tried it again with the starting fluid and it kinda back fired. now it wont even start with the starting fluid. besides the fuel pump, what did i screw up. hopefully not anything to serious. please give me some where to start. Its saturday night and i gotta get to work monday mornin. thanks

Open the diagnostic connector box located on the drivers side in the engine compartment and use a paper clip to jumper the holes labeled fp and b+

If the car starts with those jumpered it is probably the fuel pump relay and that is a simple fix, if not sounds like the pump has gone out or the strainer is clogged.
