Clutch problems
I have a 95 Celica and i've been having problems with my clutch. On any trip I made, the pressure in the clutch pedal could vary from stiff to flopping on the floor. I could sit at a light with the very stiff clutch but sometimes after about 10 seconds or so it would go away and stick to the floor. I figured one of the cylinders had gone bad so I replaced the slave and when that didn't fix it, I replaced the master. This still didn't fix it, so i thought maybe I got a bad batch of cylinders or something so i replaced them both again. I still have the same problem. I bled the lines thoroughly both times I replaced them, and checked them a week later. I bought this car from a dealer a year ago and they told me they had replaced the clutch. I would find it hard to believe that I have the bad luck of having 2 bad sets of clutch cylinders. Any other ideas?
