I have a 93 Celica GT Convertible and there I alot of little parts that autozone and those joints just cannot provide... I've hit up E-bay a few times but still just not really finding any luck... Does anyone know of any great websites that I could find just about anything I could ever want?
Well I need windshield wiper arms, the little sensor in the door that tells you when its open, the cup holder is broken, some interior pieces such as knobs, ash tray rails, and what not... My first Celica was well taken care of by me and didnt have these problems, but I regretfully sold the car and just recently bought another because I missed it soo much and well lets say the previous owner didn't take as much pride in it as I did. The dealer is way out of control lol that little yellow piece inside the door that holds the two rods together that allow the door to automatically lock is like 25 dollars and seriously its smaller than my pinky finger. Basically I was trying to use the dealer as my last resort.
grab your tool bag and head out to the junk yards. you've heard of them right? they're lots of old cars where people go pick their part and pay for it at a discount. either that or call a auto dismantler and ask for the part. they dismantle it for you if they have it in stock. better than dealership prices. you've got a 93 celica? Ive seen some older celicas in the junk yards where i go to.
Well honeslty your sarcasm with the junk yard is a little unnecessary because here in Cali where I live yeah theres one junk yard my friend and no they don't have and 5th gen celicas... And yes when I lived in Washington I went to junk yards all of the time... And yes I know what junk/bone yards are. But hey basically what I ended up doing for the windshield wipers is making and adapter and installed windshield wiper arms from an 03 celica that was wrecked around here.

well i have the same problem finding little pieces. celicas are usually hard to find at junkyard through my experience. The best thing i have found to do is just keep looking and ask around to people who have owned or own a celica with mods and see if they still have the stock parts from it. And just throwing it out there if you know anyone with a 1st gen s10 with a 2.8l v6, i have a set of unused headers. i bought them for mine and then a week later it got totalled at an intersection. Hey bro, list me the parts you are in need of. They just put out a 93 Celica vert at the pay-n-pull in pristine condition. I'm guessing some tard blew a head gasket and had the think junked. They have gotten the bumper assembly, the hood, instrument cluster and the top. I might be able to help you out with some things if you get back before its stripped bare.
the u pull and pay places are awesome, the one here in colorado springs usually has something Im looking for. I guess peple around here dont take care of their cars much, there are about 7 celicas sittin there now, about 5 85-89 and 2 90-91. the prices are awesome and soooo much lkower then anywhere and since your pulling it you get to see the condition before buying. Hopefully you've got a local import parts store there. I know I've got a few here and their prices are much better then a dealers for the exact same part
