Hello everyone!
I am going to be doing a trans fluid drain/refill on my '03 Celica GT auto and I was wondering if anyone had the torque specs for the trans pan. I read a guide on this procedure for a 2001 Corolla (same engine, 4 spd auto) and I also wanted to ask:
1)Is the 01 Corolla 4spd auto trans the same as mine? (i.e. can I use the walkthrough for the corolla to do my celica).
2)If I can use the '01 Corolla walkthrough, it lists the trans pan torque specs at 48 inch/lbs. I don't claim to be an expert by any means, but this sounds very low to me.
I bought the trans filter kit for it (cork gasket + filter) so I'm just trying to get myself straight on all the necessary info before going ahead with the work. Thanks in advance for your time & consideration!
