Australia Hi all From Australia

Hi Guys and Girls,
My names Jimmy and I'm from Melbourne Victoria.
I have been reading a lot of threads on here and thought it would be about time i introduced myself.

I own 2 1983 Ra60 celica's and a 1987 st162 coupe which I'm currently rebuilding for my gf.
I suffer from crohn's disease but won't let that slow me down.
Anyways here's a pic of my daily drive but i am going to be taking it off the road to bring it back to as near original as possible.
With a nice white paint job with a pearl green.

here's my other ride's and also what i have been doing with my car since i got it.

it's completely stock at this stage but one day i will be hopefully getting a gen 3 3sgte put into it.

Thank you all From Jimmy

also if anybody is after any Aus model rear 1/4 vents or any parts for their celica's (doesn't matter what gen)and are having trouble looking for please don't hesitate to ask me and i will try and help you all out.

I think there are several differences between the GT and the GT-S (5th Gen) over the years.
When you consider the range for that generation was from 1990 to 1993; including the cosmetic differences, the changes are many.
Also, considering the fact that you hail from the Land Downunder, are you refering to the Celica manufactured for sale in your country, manufactured for sale in Canada, the U.S. or those vehicles manufactured for sale elsewhere around the World.
You will have to excuse me for being so precise; but it would be unfair of me to comment in a manner otherwise.

Thanks for noticing old Bessy, yeah, 18 years and 260 000 KM later, she is still going - knock on wood.

ah ok yer.
im mainly talking about the u.s. ones as i know nearly all the differences on the models here.
i just want to learn more about overseas models and broaden my celica knowledge from my backyard lol.
The way you can tell the differences here are the stud patterns from 4th and 5th gen celicas.
we got models from 3rd gen xt and st.
4th gen changed to sx and st
5th gen was sx and st also
6th gen was zx and zr
7th gen im still trying to find out lol.
but anything you can tell me about celicas over your way would be greatly appreciated.
i know you got different indicators and stuff on your cars over there
our celica's got the jdm style stuff on ours
but that's ok mate i don't mind the precise i'm willing to learn.
yer i like a well kept celica and the 5th gens are the last of the fliplight which i reckon separated the celica from other sports cars of the era.
my 1983 ra60 has just clicked over 230,00kms or 142,922miles.
