So I just got myself a replacement driver side tail light for my 91 celcia gt. turns out its not the same one I had. The replacement came off a 1990 celica and it was a coupe (same as mine) but the taillight was the same size but apperance was different and the light holes were different sizes well the screw ins were different. So as of now I've got an extra taillight sittin here doing nothing I'll get some pics up to show the difference in apperance. If anyone needs it let me know

question removeing the lights how the hell do you get them out?
i mean is it one pice?i went to remove one of mine and allmost cracked it

it is one very large piece. Depending on which one it is (both of the ones i have are different) one has a screw near the upper right when looking at it from the back and also 2 or 3 screws under the farthest red light (it pops out, at least mine did and snaps right back in) which those screws out it just pops righ out. The other one i found has a screw in just about the same area (upper right for driver side, but it was in a slighty diff spot) same screws under the red light tho

remove the turnsignal part of the piece because it pops off and thats where the screws are. then take it off and put on your new one

yeah thats a better description then mine lol, on one of the types of 90-91 taillights there is a screw in the upper area on the outside close to the license plate

90 and 91 screws by the plate are still interchangable
