cam shaft bolts

alright so yesterday i was trying to put my camshafts back in when i was torquing the bolts to 14lbs like it says in my book. so i am tightening them a quarter of a turn at a time and i start to think man these are pretty freaking tight and i didnt remember it being so hard to take off the bolts.. then of course on my next cycle threw the bolts one of them snaps... so i had to take all of them off... anyone have this problem>? maybe just old bolts that need to be replaced?

I think your torque wrench is broken, 14 ft lbs is nothing.

I think deep is right. 14lbs of torque is nothing. And the angle doesn't matter so I think your wrench is defective.
